Ascot Hotel - Mumbai

The location is very convenient for shopping and sightseeing.

The room I stayed in was showing signs of wear, with some light switches not functioning and ventilation issues in the bathroom causing mould. The breakfast was disappointing. Poorly cooked eggs and cleanliness issues in the dining area made for an unsatisfactory start to each day.

The room was excellent and the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating.

The bathroom was huge, the decor was contemporary, the hotel was clean.

The towels were scrtchy and awful, the breakfast was bare bones American style and the staff was extremely noisy.

The location near Colaba Causeway is fantastic for sightseeing. The bathroom tiles showed signs of wear.

Very nice but disorganized front desk. No mini bar...really should have for the money. No liqour...understand is their call but...would much prefer.

The hotel was a pleasant surprise in such a big noisy city. The hotel was a quiet, calm oasis amidst all the turmoil of a big city. The rooms were spacious & nicely decorated. All our requests were answered promptly- excellent service!

The only thing that was not great was the food. We ordered room service as we arrived late from a flight; there was not much available from the menu and what we got was ok but not great. The breakfast was adequate but a bit of fruit would have made it much better.

I had high hopes for the ascot, but instead, i got a dirty room with hair under the sheets and towels that smelt funny. The staff wasn't quick to provide basic amenities, and i expected a complimentary dessert to brighten my stay. This place is overrated, and i just couldn't write a good review, honestly!

Management and staff very nice. Everything was fine.

We got the Emirates Suite which is a big double room. Electric equipement is not 100% completed. TV was correctly set only on arabic channels.

The spacious rooms were a delight! Staff were super helpful, especially Nayim who went above and beyond! 🥰. the cleanliness left a bit to be desired.

Great location, nice bed and large rooms.

Staff at reception were terrible! I ordered a taxi to go to the airport and after our check out, which took him almost 40 min to process payment and print the invoice, there was no taxi booked and nobody knew anything, so we had to rush and try to get a small taxi (we had loads of big suitcases, thats why we chose to order one taxi before). So in the end it was fine, but it was created an unnecessary stress at check out time after an amazing fun and relaxing holiday!
